I chose this a s Design of the Week for a couple of reasons. The first is because the juxtaposition amuses me.
But more importantly, this client was fearless. It is sometimes difficult for folks to visualize a completed piece when we are designing with only corner samples. Large scale frames often scare clients. Not this lady. And this 3" silver imperial frame is proportionate to the size of the art (and rather befits Mr. Universe, methinks!). It does not look overpowering, it looks fabulous and will surely glitz up the old boudoir!
